War of Passchendaele
Taking place on July 31, 1917 was a war in Flanders Field. The British empire started and was against Germany, British thought was assault and declared war. Canadian men have arrived in Flanders field to sought through the war. Australian and New Zelenand men seek throughout the war and had joined along the British army. The battle field was taken place in north west of Belgium and northern France.
Approximately 16 000 Canadian men have died that day along with 220 000 German men. On July 31, it was a bloody and muddy day, men fought hard and fought more than 10 times. Sir Currie Arthur was the commander of the Canadian army and was part of the war on that day and have survived. Germany and their allies have triumph the war but also have 280 000 men have serve throughout the war but have died.
On the day of war not much is left and road after heavy shelling. Many men who have fought and died they buried the men in Flanders field. The British empire David Lloyd George wanted to take the land called Passchendaele and had kill men to do so. They had ended up having tanks stuck in the mud but was able to still fight but moving the rear. Harry Patch was the last surviver of the Passchendaele wharf the Western Front of the United Kingdon, he died on July 29 2009.
